Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born 7 July 1968 was an American actress. She is best known for her performances in CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Childhood and early life
Carlson was raised in Glen Ellyn by Robert Eugene Carlson, her father being an educator. Carlson was born in Elmhurst ([DuPage County Illinois to Chicago). She is of Swedish descent , with roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: Early career and college
She first came to Hollywood through her part as a background actress in the film Lucas which starred Charlie Sheen (Corey Haim) and Winona Ryder. Then, she joined her older sister Betsy (Knox College) to Galesburg.
