Luna Blaise and Kathie Lee Gifford
Luna Blaise, an American actress, is well known for the television series Fresh Off the Boat. From the time she was a teenager, her interest in acting has been growing. She began by gaining models contracts, as well as smaller cameo part in films. Then, she got offers to work in recurring roles in TV series. For her part she also has made appearances in videos for music as well. The award she received was with the Young Artist Award for the category of Recurring Young Actresses (14-21). Some of the projects that she was a part of are her feature-length film Vicious Circle, the art film Memoria, the TV series Fresh Off the Boat, and the Sweatshirt Music Video. Her social media popularity is obvious, with more than 1.4 millions of followers on Instagram and 127.2k in Twitter.
Kathie Lee Gifford, along with Hoda Kotb, hosted the fourth hour of TODAY since 2008 and until the 5th April, 2019. The Gifford-Kotb show was called appointment television from Entertainment Weekly and TODAY's happy hour by USA Today. Gifford wrote TODAY The Musical, a highly acclaimed musical that features all of the TODAY hosts and crew. She also created a completely new track each month for Everyone Has a Story. She was inducted into the Broadcast & Cable Hall of Fame in 2015. Gifford worked as a co-host on Live with Regis & Kathie for fifteen years during which she received 11 nominations for an Emmy. Three years as an Good Morning America journalist was followed by a playwright, director and singer/songwriter. Gifford's 40 year career has been filled with a range of movies, TV shows and as a singer/songwriter. She has her own label, and also wrote several musicals, including Broadway's SCANDALOUS. This show received a Tony nomination to be the Best Actress 2012. Gifford was also featured in Annie as well as Putting it Together on Broadway. Gifford has written four NY Times Bestsellers including: Just when I thought I'd Lost My Last Egg, I Can't Believe I Said This The Rock The Road The Rabbi and Party Animals. She recently co-wrote and recorded He Saw Jesus Jesus is His Name and Love Me To death. In Monterey, CA she announced the launch of her GIFFT wine label together with Scheid Family Vineyards. Recently, she made her debut as a director for The God Who Sees, starring Nicole C. Mullen. In the film, the duo wrote the score together. Gifford provides support to a variety of children's organizations including Childhelp as well as the Association to Benefit Children which spawned Cassidy's Place and Cody House named in honor of her two children. Marymount University awarded her honorary degrees for the work that she did in labor relations.
