Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Felix's father Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley while Her mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix displayed an early talent for sports when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She was able to see her speed-running talents at the moment. In just 10 weeks following her first attempt, she finished 2nd in the 200 meter event at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed a sports contract with Adidas. Then she attended an institution called the University of Southern California and was a teacher in the elementary school. One year later Felix won her debut Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking a junior world record by sprinting 200 meters at 22.18 seconds. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix was named the world's youngest champion in the 200-meter race. She won the title once again in 2007, defeating her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix has consistently placed within the top three across her diverse events at the Olympics that took place during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
