Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister at Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident from the moment she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After only 10 weeks after her first attempt, Felix came in second place in the 200 meter sprint at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix signed a contract for an official career at Adidas in 2003, and then enrolled at University of Southern California to take classes in elementary school. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal in 2004 at the Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. She set an unofficial Junior World Record doing 200 m in 22.18 seconds. She became the youngest 200-meter world champion of all time at the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007 over her former Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix has consistently placed in the top 3 in her various events during the Olympics held at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
